Situation:
A free software solution was needed to teach courses on GIS applied to viticulture and for free implementation on vineyards and wineries to manage wine production.
Solution:
Use of gvSIG 1.9 portable for course delivery and to manage the wine production by the vineyards.
Benefits:
- Obtaining an Advance Training grant for online course delivery.
- An increment on the number of customer warehouses once the responsible technicians from the main Spanish wineries learned to use the program.
